Tross at Sonic's nye spill slippes til neste generasjons konsoller, har Sega ikke gitt opp denne generasjonen. Som vi fortalte deg i går kommer Sonic og hans venner til å konkurrere mot hverandre på "luftbrett" i Sonic Riders som slippes til GameCube, Playstation 2 og Xbox. Spillet ser ut til å inneha et opplegg som ligner Mario Kart. Sonic og hans venner konkurrerer mot Dr. Eggman og hans kamphaner i en Grand Prix der chaos-smaragder står på spill.
