Level-5 vil slippe Professor Layton til Switch

Professor Layton-serien var en av de mest suksessfulle på Nintendo DS, men noen stasjonær versjon har aldri blitt sluppet. Nå kan det se ut til at dette vil endre seg, og at en Switch-versjon kan bli virkelighet.

I et intervju med utvikler Level-5 forteller de at det faktisk er noe de ønsker. Derimot er de ikke helt sikre på hvordan de skal håndtere det når Nintendo Switch befinner seg i docken. Til Eurogamer sier Level-5s Akihiro Hino følgende:

"I played Zelda. I love the Switch. I think it's amazing hardware. The problem is, the Layton series does a lot with the touchscreen and pointing. So, the problem with the Switch is, if you play on handheld you can do it, but if you put it on the dock... we're trying to figure out how that would play into it. If we can get around that and figure out a way of doing it, definitely we're looking into putting the next Layton onto the Switch."
