Konami: PES 2018 blir bedre enn FIFA 18

Gamereactor fikk nok en gang sjansen til å snakke med Konamis Adam Bhatti da utvikleren viste frem spillet i Europa for første gang, og han var ikke spesielt beskjeden i sin omtale av Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 og FIFA 18. Han sa rett ut at han mener Konamis spill er bedre enn konkurrentens i år, og at det ifølge ham skyldes at FIFA-serien hviler på laurbærene:

"As always, FIFA 18 seems very similar to last year's edition. They probably didn't feel the need or didn't want to make the changes. I think they are quite comfortable and that is always giving us a great chance because it allows us to innovate, change things and actually create an alternative. You know, having people playing the same thing every year, we need to make sure that we give them a good option, and we think it's actually a better option."

Han fortsetter med å si at PES-serien har vært bedre på gameplay siden Pro Evolution Soccer 2015:

"Is PES going to be better this year? I think it has been the case since PES 15 in terms of gameplay. PES 6 was the best, and then it went through some bad years before we brought it back. So I think from PES 15 it's been good, but this is the first year we really worked the animation, the visuals and the game modes as well."

Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 slippes 14. september, så da får vi vite med sikkerhet om det leverer bedre gameplay enn FIFA 18.
